Fotografo a Venezia le sue luci, le sue ombre e i suoi colori, le persone che ci vivono e i turisti di passaggio, in atmosfere che cambiano con le ore del giorno e delle stagioni. In questa città  è protagonista la luce. E' questa il soggetto principale del suo paesaggio urbano che riprendo con strumenti diversi, dalla pellicola con macchine d’epoca, al digitale abbinato ad ottiche d’epoca o moderne. Cerco di salvare nella memoria con la fotografia, ciò che ancora si salva della Venezia che conoscevo,  scansando nelle immagini della città, dove possibile, quello che a mio avviso non appartiene e non è mai appartenuto alla sua cultura e al suo popolo.

I photograph the lights, the shadows and the colors of Venice, the people who live there and the tourists passing by, in an atmosphere that changes with the time of the day and the seasons. In this town the light is protagonist. It is the main subject of its urban landscape that I portray with different tools: film with vintage cameras, and digital combined with vintage or modern optics. I try to save in the memory with the photography what remains of the Venice I knew , dodging where possible, those images of the city that in my opinion do not belong and never belonged to its culture and its people.
